Reports to – Head of Guest Experience
Hours – Casual hours across 7 days a week including evenings and weekends.
Salary – £13.37 per hour
We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Casual Duty Manager at the historic Tyne Theatre & Opera House.
As the most senior member of staff on shift, you’ll take the lead in delivering a first-class experience for every visitor. You’ll manage a full team of Guest Experience staff, including stewards, hospitality, merchandise and ticketing teams. On show nights, the team will look to you for direction, support and inspiration.
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Personable and sparky – someone who lights up a room and gets the best out of people
- Cool under pressure – able to think on their feet and handle challenges without breaking a sweat
- Experienced – ideally from a customer-facing supervisory role
- A natural leader – confident, calm, and clear in decision-making
- Passionate about live performance – especially theatre
- Burning for the spotlight – energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to muck in when needed
