Our audience members love recommendations on the best places to eat, drink and stay around their visit to our Theatre. We want to encourage ticket holders to come down early and spend some money locally at restaurants/bars before visiting – or better yet, stay for a day or two!
Outside of hospitality, as a venue with a predominantly local audience, we can help promote any kind of business or organisation to our audience base.

Tyne Theatre Productions stage a production each year with all funds raised from the shows contributing towards the preservation of the Theatre.
There are opportunities to sponsor a show with tailor made packages to suit your requirements and budget.

Help our Preservation Trust to refurbish our seats and leave a lasting legacy of your support. You’ll be in the good company of performers and friends of the Theatre including; Sarah Millican, Chris Ramsey, Carl Hutchinson & Matt Pagan.

Our theatre has several charming areas in the Stalls and Grand Circle level which can be used as private bars and entertainment areas, where can have your interval or pre-show refreshments served. Please be aware that due to the age of the building, all areas are not wheelchair accessible.

The Box CC
Hiring our elegant private bar and lounge behind the Box CC on the Grand Circle level is the perfect space to entertain your guests or friends. The room accommodates up to 14 people. Your intermission refreshments will be served at the private bar. There are private bathroom facilities and a cloak area. It’s an ideal accompaniment for seats in the Box CC or elsewhere on the Grand Circle.
The Coffee Lounge
Our Coffee Lounge on the Grand Circle level (1st floor) accommodates up to 20 people. You can order your intermission refreshments to be served at the private bar. The Lounge connects to the Grand Circle, Stalls, Bistro Bar and bathroom facilities downstairs. You can have your group seated anywhere in the theatre to hire this room for your theatre visit.
We also hire the Stalls Bar and the Bistro Bar on ground floor, where areas can be sectioned off for you and your guests. Both areas are wheelchair accessible. Drink packages and catering can be quoted on request.
