Hours – Casual hours across 7 days a week including evenings and weekends.

Salary – £12.21 per hour

Are you passionate about theatre and love helping people have a great night out? We’re on the lookout for Casual Guest Experience Hosts to join the front-line team at the beautiful and historic Tyne Theatre & Opera House.

As a Guest Experience Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of the venue – helping to create magical moments for every audience member.

Your duties will include:

• Greeting guests and showing them to their seats
• Selling merchandise, programmes and ice creams
• Serving refreshments in our tuck shop, bars and café
• Being part of a friendly and professional team, making sure every show runs smoothly

We’re looking for people who are:

• Personable and sparky – full of energy and enthusiasm
• Friendly and approachable – with great communication skills
• Passionate about theatre and live events
• Experienced in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, events – all welcome)
• A true company player– reliable, proactive, and ready to get stuck in
