Join Tyne Theatre Productions for the timeless family musical Annie, brought to life in a special 2027 production featuring the exciting debut collaboration with Tyne Youth Company.

Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, Annie follows the story of a spirited young orphan whose unwavering optimism transforms the lives of everyone she meets.

Dreaming of finding the parents who left her at an orphanage run by the formidable Miss Hannigan, Annie’s life takes an unexpected turn when she’s invited to spend Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

Along the way, she discovers friendship, adventure and the true meaning of family, proving that even in the toughest of times, hope can shine through.

Packed with unforgettable songs including ‘Tomorrow’, ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’ and ‘You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile’, this heart-warming musical is a celebration of courage, kindness and the belief that brighter days are always just around the corner.

This landmark production marks the first time Tyne Theatre Productions and Tyne Youth Company have come together for an in-house production. The production will feature performers aged 7+ to present one of the world’s most beloved musicals in a spectacular celebration of community theatre.
