Join us

If you have a love for the theatre onstage or backstage, come and join us! There are a number of ways you can participate.

Tyne Theatre Productions (TTP) is the theatre’s in-house amateur dramatic company, managed within our Community Engagement & Participation strand. All profits from TTP go straight back into the preservation and restoration of Tyne Theatre & Opera House.

MEMBERSHIP

If you are thinking of joining us in 2026-27 – either on, or behind stage – our membership pack is now available HERE.  As an company meeting year round, we offer an annual production on stage at the theatre where members can be involved both on stage, and backstage in technical, costume, props teams; plus additional opportunities to take part in events and workshops as part of TTOH’s community engagement work and regular socials.

On Sunday 28 June 2026, TTP will take part in a Gala performance at the theatre, alongside Tyne Theatre Voices (our community choir) and Tyne Youth Company. This performance is open to the general public and tickets can be booked via the main website page. Do come along!
